About Nifty Buckles Folklore

Growing up in Ontario, I grew up surrounded by storytellers and adventurers.

My love for books reading poetry began at age four, when I would skip to our local library just half a block from home.

I’ve worked as a preschool teacher for children, including those with hearing impairments, creating joyful, musical circles. I share my life with Mr. Skittles, a spirited mini weiner dog with striking eyes.

I also have worked as a Marketer for a small VAWT company called Harvistor, where I branded the egg beater Wind turbine 'Darwind5.'

Now, as my children are grown, I carry the memory of my son, Scotty, whose spirit inspires my storytelling with tenderness and fire.

I spend my days writing Folklore, poems, fairy tales and fiction. driven by a quiet desire to ignite that hidden flame in every soul—leaving a whisper of legacy that resonates beyond the years.
